It has been my honor and privilege to serve you as County Commissioner since January of 1997. During my tenure, Scott County has become one of the fastest growing counties in the nation. This rapid rate of growth presents both challenges and opportunities for the County and its residents. Because of my passion for, and commitment to, county government, I respectfully ask for your support in allowing me to continue to be a strong voice for you, the taxpayers – as an advocate for open and efficient government, fiscally responsible spending, and effective leadership in these challenging economic times. All of us wear many different “hats” every day, but the one hat that we always wear is that of “citizen.” Representative democracy works best when people care enough to be informed and get involved in the process. Please call me with any questions or concerns at (952) 447-5748. Sincerely, Barbara Marschall Scott County Commissioner |
